White Syke Fields

White Syke Fields has three distinctive settings, each with their own personality offering you a creative backdrop for your weddings or event. We’re Charlie aka Apple Charlotte and Jon Rooke, a husband and wife team based at our family farm in Sand Hutton, near York, in God’s Own Country (that’s Yorkshire to those not in the know). We live with our cheeky little tinkers, Bertie and Mabel, and a couple of dozen fancy free range chickens, plus the odd wild rabbit, hare and deer. Sponges and spuds are our day jobs – Charlie is a wedding, birthday and any special occasion cake baker extraordinaire, while Jon aka (Mr logistics), helps farm a few hundred acres of potatoes and grain bringing chips and crisps to the masses. But since moving into our beautiful farmhouse, at White Syke Farm, in 2018, we’ve been working our proverbials off, to transform two of our empty barns into a funky and fabulous wedding venue and event space. Nestled in Ancient Saxon woodlands on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, within easy reach of York City Centre.
