White Spider Climbing

White Spider is the best all round climbing gym in the SE in my opinion, top roped, auto belay, bouldering, kids climbing and cafe area. If you're climbing more than 3 times a week the membership becomes worthwhile. I've managed to get all my uni aged children to get involved in climbing when all other forms of exercise where dismissed 😆. Great gym 👍

If you want to let your kids try something different and push them a little- this is the place to start! We had Rich - an experienced- firm but friendly instructor, who took the kids on such an enjoyable and challenging journey mentally and physically. THANK YOU!

Just the best. I go as a dad of a 4 year old. She loves the climbing castle, loves the auto belay and just generally running around like a loon. White Spider is great value (castle/clip and climb is £10.50 and some days we've been there for 4 hours), safe and great fun. The staff are also very helpful and friendly, albeit some days it can take a while for them to get to you - as long as you're in no rush and wait for them to finish what they're doing, no problem! The café isn't bad either

Great place for a birthday party. Everything is organized perfectly well. Staff and instructors are lovely and supportive. You are allowed to bring your food! Personal thanks for Bob, if I remember the name correctly 💚

I would love to give 5 stars but i cannot for the following factors: - far too busy (and dangerous) on a Sunday afternoon, not ideal for a bouldering induction. This needs to be seriously reviewed. - my wife was told that she had to supervise my 2 children during my induction rather than let them sit in the safe zone. This was not relayed to us by the staff upon entry who happily took the admission fees for all of us - the instructor could have provided more guidance and different techniques,...
