Wonderful piano teacher for my children. I would recommend without hesitation.

I was daunted by the thought of taking up piano playing after a gap of over 50 years, but Richard has made lessons enjoyable as well as instructive. He is very patient, flexible and supportive, and he backs up lessons with further information and sound tracks to play along with. I've already learned a lot more than I did all those years ago, and it's certainly a lot more fun!

Learning jazz piano with Richard is terrific fun. I had been trying to learn for almost 12 months before finding Wheathampstead Music. Up until then, I had made mediocre progress using a mix of online course and a personal coach. In the past six weeks since using Richard my confidence, focus and ability to play has increased tremendously. His approach is fresh, fun and highly productive.
