Great lunch at the bar from Feed the Baron!

Only some holes are signposted for next tee and it’s far from clear. Some very challenging holes with difficult contours and slopes which keep you thinking.

Played yesterday afternoon, course is in superb condition greens are immaculate fast but true. Some tricky short par 4s that prove that length isn’t the be all and end all for a good golf hole. Loved the par 3 6th. Checked the visitors rate this morning out of curiosity as we were playing as one of our 4 ball had won the voucher in an auction at a charity day £30 in the summer wow what a bargain. The course is hilly in parts so if you have any mobility issues would recommend using a buggy.

Its not a great course being very hilly, not in very good condition. Played on winter tees and a changed setup of the course. Club house ok, but nothing to shout home about.

We went here for Fresh Fish Friday. Great service and simple, well cooked food. Lovely views from the dining area. We really enjoyed it.
