Westgate & Birchington Golf Club

Good venue for our club meetings. Excellent food and premises. I can strongly recommend it.

We had our groups Christmas lunch here. The food was very good the service was also good but a bit disorganised.

Nice friendly golf club with main parking on a quiet side road. The club house has a certain charm and nostalgia about it. The course is a series of parallel holes and crosses over a road. There are parts of the course near the sea front where if the wind blows could be "interesting" for the novice. The course itself is in reasonable condition. If going for the first time use a directions aid, as it is a bit fiddly to find and the main entrance is hidden at the end of the road.

We had a society day there, it was a lovely winters day, the breakfast was great, the chef very accommodating and staff were lovely. The course was in tip top condition with fast smooth greens and the fairways weren't boggy or muddy like some of the East Kent courses currently are. A brilliant high scoring day had by all including a hole in 1 from one of our members!

Great Course, green had been aired and the 17th was a little worse for wear. Pro shop friendly, Chef & Bar staff amazing. Can’t wait to play again when the greens are a little more loved
