Western Gailes Golf Club

An amazing links course on the coast. Very popular and busy, which makes for a slower round but well worth it. Long carries from Tee's to fariways and anything, anywhere on the course is dangerous for a slicer / fader. Greens were like lighting. Really friendly pro shop and bar staff.

Just about the best golf course I've ever played on. Loved it from start to finish.

One of the best courses I have played. Super links course in Troon since 1897. Top 20 in country. Some challenging holes and greens. Tough to play with 35 mph winds. Hospitality was outstanding. Lunch was included in our visit. Food was outstanding as was the service. I can highly recommend this course.

Warm welcome from the pro and reception.the starter Freddie was absolutely brilliant . The course itself,I’d say it was hugely under rated. Superb condition. Good start on the first few holes but the stretch along the coast is stunning.we will definitely be saving up to come back here.clubhouse had nice hearty food at a reasonable price as well

Tough course!! Probably not helped by my bad golf though…. Wonderful challenge, beautiful views and immaculately kept. Wonderful friendly staff and good food too! Well worth the green fee 👍🏌️‍♂️
