I am a 'mature' student who joined West London School of Guitar 3 years ago as a total beginner with a battered second hand electric guitar and no real idea of what I wanted to achieve. In that time, I've gone from learning simple chord progressions and melodies to playing classical pieces, learning a range of different and challenging techniques, sight reading and music theory and regular improvisation classes with other students (and acquiring a couple of new guitars en route!).
