Having the experience of being a Wessex Volleyball Club member coming up through the junior setup - I had some of my best memories playing sport with new friends made in a fun and encouraging environment. Returning to the club having been away for four years at university, that hadn't changed. My son, aged 12, joined a few months ago. He is now absolutely hooked on volleyball. He had no prior experience, he just liked the idea of volleyball having watched a lot of Japanese anime! The club is extremely welcoming and has great supportive coaching. He has already made quite a few friends and it's most definitely the highlight of his week.

Wessex is a volleyball club which consists of many teams allowing different age and abilities to participate in indoor and beach volleyball. From midweek local league, regional tournaments and national league, Wessex has been represented at all levels including the Commonwealth and Olympic Games. My daughter recently joined Wessex Volleyball Club. She has been made to be feel very welcome, communication is fabulous and more importantly she’s really enjoying it and already feeling part of the team.

My daughter joined Wessex volleyball club early last year having expressed an interest. I have to say they have been the most welcoming and encouraging club that she has joined. Its been nice to see her confidence increase not just in her volleyball but in her general demeanour. She has been able to make new friends and I am always happy she is in safe hands
