Wayside Stables

Absolutely loved our 2 hour trek around Windsor Great Park! We were matched with super horses who are obviously very well cared for and were appropriate for our riding ability. Our escort riders were so friendly and helpful and entertained us with information and tales of Windsor the whole way round. What a great way to start 2023. Met at the Wayside stables to ensure helmets were up to the new safety standards for Jan 2023. Then a short drive to the Rangers gate. Emily ensured we were safe & mounted ready for a thoroughly enjoyable hack around Great Windsor Park. Lovely horses, Bertie, Robin & Chloe were super chilled for us beginners.

I recently did the 2hr hack through Great Windsor Park and it was brilliant. I am a novice rider and have been having lessons for about a year but would still consider myself a beginner. Karen was our guide and made me feel so at ease and comfortable. She was easy to talk to, down to earth and so friendly it made the whole experience magical. Absolutely amazing hack in the Windsor Great Park! Got to see lots of wildlife including hundreds of red deer! My escort had loads of information about the surrounding area, and to top it off lovely horses and such down to earth horse people! Thank you so much for a great experience and I will definitely be back!! ❤️

A lovely experience, might as well be a safari with all the stag and types of birds we saw! The horses are very responsive and well looked after. My escort was a good laugh and took me on some fun routes! I would 100% recommend this stables, it is well worth the money!
