Water Merlins Swim School

Lessons and swim staff are really good but the administration of the place is a shambles. Uncommunicative, impossible to get through to, and don't follow through on promises. We're in the ridiculous position of actually wanting the kids to continue going (the time/place is convenient) but unable to actually get hold of anyone capable of making it happen.

Instructors seem OK but communication is awful. You can never get through to them and they won't let you know when they need to cancel lessons. I cut a holiday short to get back for the kids lessons this evening and only found out they were cancelled when we turned up. Their reason was someone had been sick in the pool - fair enough, but it happened this morning and a quick email to everyone wouldn't have been too hard for most people. Our daughter takes swimming lessons there, and has been for a few years. She seems to enjoy it and the staff are fun and friendly. She is also progressing steadily through the swimming levels, and is now safe in water. Works for us and will use them as long as our daughter needs.

Awesome place to work for the past 7 years ✌️ Lovely staff. Great bosses. Nice parents and well behaved kids. Managed extremely well by Tom and Heather, can't fault them.

‘Heather’ and ‘Hollie’ are both very rude and have no idea about customer service. I have had to complain to both the school and awarding body about their so-called ‘teaching’, they humiliate and ridicule kids, pick favourites and have some downright dangerous practices.
