My 5 year old boy wanted to try horse riding. Walcot stables is very close to where we are staying. It was very affordable and he loved it. On the day there were three ponies for three children. I booked it over the phone an hour before I went. There is little or no phone reception so be sure to know where you are going. The experience itself was excellent.
