I picked up Spanish again after a break and wanted small groups to improve my grammar and spoken Spanish. Maria has been great, setting us homework, checking it and making us work but very friendly. I also enjoy my conversation classes with Carolina which are also small and we are all encouraged to take turns and we cover lots of topics. I never feel I am being stretched beyond what I can do but I do feel my Spanish is getting better. Very happy with both classes.

Carolina is an incredible teacher. Not only are her lessons very helpful but also extremely entertaining. She makes learning fun and exciting. She is a lovely person and I couldn’t sing her praises loud enough.

Learning Spanish with Carolina is both fun and effective. I have joined a small group of 3, which is optimal for the learning outcomes. I think there is a good balance between speaking, grammar and other activities. The quarterly meetups are also a great touch. I have been learning Spanish on my phone app since the pandemic and only started taking lessons from Ven Language School October this year. Even though I picked up a fair bit of basic Spanish from the phone app, it was from the Spanish class that I learnt the correct usage of various words through Maria! She has been most helpful.

I was pleased to discover Ven Language Services in my area which encouraged me to continue my attempts to learn Spanish. I am very pleased I have joined ,and have an excellent teacher in María who has really worked hard on getting the basics of the language well instilled . Classes are small and well run.
