Uphall Golf Club

i played uphall golf club dec 29th 2022 in the early morning rain. the starter was so helpful to help me with the lay out. I was told about the clubhouse burning to the ground. hes voice cracked during this story. I wish this great course many more great years of service. I would love to come back when the new club house is built .

We were made very welcome at Uphall when we played in the mixed open greensome. The course is well maintained and the greens stood up to the heavy rain very well. You have to keep your wits about you at all times as many fairways cross or are shared. Also three of the tees are exposed to errant shots from other holes. Nice clubhouse with a large bar and the meals served in the dining room were generous and good value.

Christmas dinner starter duck tasted nice canopy size though. Beef main course tough as old boots. didn't eat it. Waitress didnt even ask why I didn't eat it. Help for the dessert.

Great golf course busy course. And great clubhouse with lovely food. Must try.

Course is challenging and well kept,greens are beautiful. Course pro very helpful as it was our first visit, with our questions. Pleasant staff in the clubhouse,nice decor. Well worth the green fee. You an get discounts through various golfing magazines. Well worth a visit.
