Welcome to the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. As Europe’s leading centre for child health research and education, our Academic Strategy focuses on: Developmental Biology and Cancer Developmental Neurosciences Genetics and Genomic Medicine Infection, Inflammation and Immunology Population Policy and Practice The key elements of this Refreshed Strategy include a new Education Strategy which is completely integrated into the overall Academic Strategy, an even closer alignment with Great Ormond Street Hospital and a clear strategy for international partnerships. In March 2021, we launched the International Precision Child Health Partnership (IPCHiP), joining forces with other leading paediatric research institutes - Boston Children’s Hospital; the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute with The Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne); and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto — to work together to evaluate genomic data, clinical data from patients, and scientific and medical expertise to accelerate discovery and therapeutic development.
