Jack has been teaching my 13 year old son Johnny for over 2 years now. Johnny always looks forward to lessons as they are based around his favourite music and with Jack’s kind, patient and good-humoured approach fun always comes first. Highly recommended!

I started learning guitar just over 2 years ago and given that I am no spring chicken I thought it best to have proper lessons. Fast forward to now and I am delighted at what I can now play on both acoustic and electric guitars. I love the fact you hear a brand new song on the radio and Jack can then listen to it and know the chords, structure and arrangement of the song within a few minutes. Been learning with Jack for over a year now. Very good experience. Solid theory approach in as much depth as I want, practical application to the music I want to play and I feel in control of what I want to learn. I look forward to my monthly lesson!

I started to learn the guitar this year. Being older, it can be quite hard but Jack is very good at encouraging me and his method of teaching is tailored to my needs. I have made great improvement and greatly enjoy playing. After every tuition I feel re-energised and looking forward to the new songs and exercises he has given me. Jack is also great at teaching music theory without making it too daunting. A little bit at a time. I highly recommend Jack as a guitar teacher.
