Trethorne Golf Club

Had a lovely stay. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Evening meal was lovely, delicious, fresh we all enjoyed our meal. Enjoyed it so much, forgot to take a photo. In the morning for breakfast there was a good selection of food to suit everybody, again the staff were very nice. We hadn't stayed there before so they went though everything with us. Stayed at the golf course as a last minute change of plan. The rooms were very nice and tidy and clean. The golf course bar served very nice food and was reasonably priced. The breakfast was also good with a good selection from cooked to cereal and everything you could need to set you up for the day.

Very busy when we visited as there was also a xmas fayre (which was rammed into too small a space). We had the Sunday carvery which was really good, good selection of veg and nice quality of meat. Staff were busy, friendly but I suspect short staffed. We enjoyed our meal.

Great place to stay. Lodges in the grounds. Excellent club house, extensive bar and good food. Staff helpful and friendly. First class buffet breakfast and nice coffee. Driving range undercover. Didn't get chance to use the golf course.

Was only looking for a single night's stay, but wish it could have been longer! Great room with an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic - freshly cooked full English! No hesitation in recommending.
