PADI Equipment Specialist (ONLINE or In Person)

PADI Equipment Specialist Course. How to save a dive !

Learn to manage basic scuba diving equipment repairs and adjustments. Understand routine care and maintenance procedures and how dive gear works.

Course Duration is 6 hours, with in the online class there will be theory, videos and your instructor will do some demonstrations of some routine maintenance. If you have video capable we can advise you on maintenance of your own kit also. The demonstrations will be looking at the most common pieces of equipment a diver will use. The construction of the kit, how it works and how its made, care and maintenance is all discussed.

You may attend South Manchester in person if you prefer.

This course has some home study, which is advised to be completed before attendance, bit not mandatory. There are no dives to complete for this specialty course, however this course does count towards the Master Scuba Diver Rating.

If this is taken online, the course is held through video conference (via Teams) and will be delivered in English only. Its the participants responsibility to ensure that they have good internet access, and capable of running teams preferably from a pc. Webcams are optional but audio is a requirement. Please ensure your email address given is correct. You don't have to have Teams installed you can join by a web client.
