visited this venue on 8th october to find the pools closed..... had phoned in the morning and left a voice message to enquire closing times,but had no reply . so travelled one hour from my home in stratford upon avon to fish ,only to be met with locked gates . visited the thorpe estate office, no one available, spoke to one of the estate workers who took the time to phone a co worker who informed us that as no one had turned up to fish in the morning they decided to close early. fair enough b...

This place never disappoints amazing place won the match with 187 pounds with some monsters brill

Turned up to the fisheries in good spirits hoping to hook a biggun. We received tips from the locals and regulars on how to fish and were welcomed from then onwards. However a woman then comes over screaming and shouting about us being youth and saying we all need to vacate now as the last youth they had there sold drugs and said she doesn't trust us as we wore caps and had a tracksuit on. She said she was the owner and ive never seen such a poor example of leadership and am disgusted by this...

Very nice place loverly quiet and well kept £8.00 a peg but worth it for the surroundings and plenty off fish
