We went for my cousins wedding it was a lovely spot at the side of the canal

Passed through on the narrowboat I live on. I'd like a cheap mooring there compared to what I pay at Stanilands marina but it's been full for 5 years or more.

So quiet and relaxing ideal to get away from the modern life style

Bought "Lady of the Mist" a couple of months ago, complete with mooring etc. since we've been down whenever we get the time (which is never enough) What a cracking place!!!! This is our 3rd marina in the Thorne area & by far the best, kid, dog & family friendly, lovely people, nice setting absolutely fantastic, well recomended.
