  • Had an amazing wedding here over the weekend, food and location were just lovely. The staff including Natalie and Leighton went above and beyond they are, an asset to the venue. Nothing was too much trouble and our day was truly magical.

  • One star is generous for this esblishment. The staff and management are a complete shambles! Wanted to change my wedding date to a different date and still want to charge 75% off the wedding when they had 2 years notice! Will not compromise, or show empathy or compassion. We are in a cost of living crisis.

  • Not a golf review. The conferencing facilities are very average. Staff are not particularly welcoming to corporate guests. Great parking and a lovely view from the bar.

  • Played Thornbury with a society, on arrival we had a bacon and sausage roll with coffee waiting for us, very good. We then played the par 3 short course in the morning for a bit of fun/warm up. Good little course to practice the short game and putting. We had lunch of sandwiches and chips which were ok but a tad dry.   • Lovely stay in Thornbury Lodge which was set within its own grounds away from the main club. The bedroom decor and furnishings were of a good quality. The room itself was large and spacious with a superking bed which was super comfy and a wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The bathroom was beautifully tiled with quality fittings.
