Thetford Golf Club

One of the best golf courses in Norfolk and I bloody love playing there. Looks easy but can soon bite yer in the butt. One too play on yer wish list.

Really nice golf course in wonderful surroundings. However I understand that temporary greens are necessary sometime but at £50 after 1pm for 18 holes I would expect to be made aware that tmep green were in play on all holes when booking.

The golf club has good greens, clubhouse and facilities. Ample car parking. The fairways had suffered in the dry summer and had not fully recovered by our visit in mid September 22. The standard green fees are expensive for visitors.

Very dry fairways but then it is a hot, dry summer. Friendly Pro Shop. Lovely course. Very good greens. Nice food and choice of drinks afterwards. Very good experience.

Was a nice course and enjoyed playing it. Set in the middle of Thetford forest the scenery is lovely and the course has some great holes especially the par 3 16th. The greens were mainly in good condition and rolled true and straight although there were a few which weren't as good as the others. Didn't enjoy having to cross a busy road twice but it didn't really detract from my enjoyment of playing this lovely course. Well worth a visit in my opinion
