I was lucky enough to discover The Wise Hippo when I was pregnant with my first baby and went on two have two really positive birth experiences using the techniques. It's a really thorough and detailed course and I think it's much more realistic than other hypnobirthing courses I looked it. It doesn't promise that you will have a 'natural' birth without any intervention but you will definitely look forward to the birth and feel like you can cope with anything that happens on the day.

The Wise Hippo Birthing Programme really was life changing. My Wise Hippo Birth was miles apart from my first experience. In fact I nearly didn't go on to have any more children after my first birth. Thank goodness I found this course as I am now a proud mummy of 3. I breathed my 2nd and 3rd babies out and remained calm, relaxed and excited about their birth. This course was completely invaluable when preparing for the birth of our children (1st in 2017 and 2nd in 2020 - lockdown baby!) best money we ever spent (especially when we spent 100s on things that never got used!) We covered birth planning and preferences, understanding our maternal rights, birth positions, and relaxation techniques which worked perfectly both times.
