The Watersmeet Hartpury

Cant believe this pub only charges 12.95 for a pork roast. 11 vegetables we had. Absolutely lovely and freshly cooked. The young lady who served us told us about the history of the pub and how all the family get involved . Lovely pub ,people and good beer. Watch out fir the swans .

Unscheduled stop on way home to Gloucester from Shrewsbury. Fab traditional pub food (huge portions) which is hard to find..prob the best chilli I have had in a long time!. Quick and very friendly service. Lovely atmosphere and v welcoming crowd in bar. Can't wait to come back in daylight to see the lake! Thank you x😋

We popped in for Sunday Lunch. Wow! What a huge, piping hot, delicious roast. Beef and Pork both cooked lovely. All the trimmings were delicious, I’ve never had so much tasty bacon with cabbage before! Would recommend! The swans are nice but a bit angry 😂 Lovely views over the fishing lakes. Would recommend! Will be sure to visit again. Thank you for a lovely lunch

Good friendly staff, simple menu only but that was fine for us on this occasion just needing a quick meal before going back to our holiday cottage after a visit to Slimbridge nature reserve, they were was plenty of nature here too as we were greeted by geese near the entrance. It looks a good place for fishermen. Bar was good, I enjoyed very much the authentic looking burger. My wife said the carmember starter was nice, garlic bread surprisingly beat ever had. Lovely friendly pub and food was delicious with generous portions. Highly recommend, will be back again :-)
