We support you through everything in life — from advice to empower your independence, to finding friends that will last a lifetime, and opportunities that will shape your future WHO WE ARE The Union is an independent charity that works to represent the needs and views of Manchester Metropolitan University students Every Manchester Met student is automatically a member of The Union and we're here to represent and support all our members. Led by our team of elected Student Officers, we make sure that students' voices are heard and that the needs, and views of students are listened to and considered by the University. We know a University experience is so much more than just getting a qualification at the end, so we work in partnership with the University to enrich every aspect of students’ lives. We're also a charity and invest every penny we make from our services back into the organisation — so the profit made from you buying a hoodie could be re-invested as a society grant, added to the campaign fund, or used to buy the free sanitary products that are in the bathrooms.
