The 14.5% alcohol wine selection in the mixed boxes is too strong Having phoned and requested a lighter selection, nothing changes. A business best suited to alcoholics.

As recent recruit to The Sunday Times wine club I can honestly say their selection and quality of wines is superb. I use to subscribe to another well known wine club but TSTWC is far and away a better deal.

Not had any problems at all and I quite like the surprise selection of wines that turn up, as it makes you try something different. Only had one duff selection in about 40 different wines and about a dozen that were sensational. The rest have been very nice. They are master marketers, so try not to get drawn into the hype. Average price is about a tenner a bottle, with some of their wines not available anywhere else. Yes it is a subscription service, but simply send them a message on line...

Shady set up. I ordered a case of (very nice) wine before Christmas which turned up fast and was generally a great experience. 3 months later, I've just had a £120 case of wine turn up at my front door which I did not order. Turns out they auto-enrol you to a subscription which you can't opt out of online which is ridiculous. I've contacted them to arrange collection and hopefully a refund of this wine which I did not order or want, and will not use STWC again until they allow you the option ...
