I am in the golf course architecture and construction business. I took a tour here some time ago with a friend to see the Tom Doak course for my own inspirations. The director, coincidentally sharing my name, was extremely informative, directive, and hospitable for our visit. He did not make us feel like an outsider, despite not being a wealthy member or guest that brought business. The course is a mix between heathland and coastal loamy vibe, with a minority of areas that feel like Africa? ...

Had an amazing day at the Scottish Open here at the Renaissance Club . What a beautiful setting on the Firth of Forth. Love the the way the buildings are so traditional.

Stunning venue for the Scottish Open, friendly welcoming staff, very well organised and a beautiful golf course.

At the Scottish Open day 1. Plenty of food and drink outlets. Toilets were clean and well managed all day. Even the weather was lovely.

Outstanding experience - the Clubhouse is regal - the rooms palatial - the food and service just perfect - an excellent place to visit - and the golf course is beautifully set up and presented
