About The Offload Project
The Offload Project was started by a psychotherapist from Nottingham who was working part time in private practice and part time for a charity. Having a foot on both sides of the fence made it clear to see that there are lots of people who just….don’t get the opportunity to have long term therapy. This might be because they do not meet the criteria for free services or because they simply cannot afford £160+ a month for private therapy. And given that one in eight people struggle with their mental health, this just didn’t seem right.
