This review is solely for the restaurant Sunday carvery: Even though a good selection of dishes was available, the taste and texture were poor- the meats were tasteless along with the gravies, the vegetables were very overcooked and mushy and everything was just warm, not hot. Only two out of all the waiting staff were friendly and obliging, the remainder were grumpy with miserable faces. Make sure to check your bill before paying as we had an extra drink and dessert added which wasn't ordered.

I eventually found clean and beautiful rooms, a comforting bed, good space and reliable staff. Everything was at an unexpected price. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere there. I will definitely go there again.

Stayed the night here in December. The customer service from reception was lovely, they’re very helpful. I want to credit Jack, the younger employee on the front desk, he is super polite and lovely to talk to. He helped me and my partner so much and made us feel very comfortable. Both courses in really good condition. staff are excellent. friendly and helpful. We had a 3 night stay. food and bar very good. rooms quite acceptable, clean and tidy. plenty parking spaces. Will definitely return.

Lakeview restaurant does a first class Sunday carvery. Highly recommended. Amazing selection of perfectly cooked roast meats and nice veg. Friendly service too. Best carvery around locally. Have visited several times. Great value at £17.50 for 2 courses.
