  • This used to be a good club but declined over the last couple of years. There are far better places to join. The Nottingham Mechanics is charitable status but members come second to the business of renting out rooms. I would look for a better place if you are seeking a club.

  • Went for a specific visit. Staff/volunteers friendly. A good place with a variety of activities and facities for room hire.

  • Was there for work so no choice really.....Venue meeting room extremely boiling as no air con and the 2 naff noisy wall fans did nothing. It's 2018 get some air con... even portable hire units!

  • They hire rooms out, and we were there to watch an illustrated talk for members of the RSPB. The rooms are big and there is a bar just off the foyer.

  • A social club with annual subscription originally for retired engineers and family, now open to the general public. Includes library and lounge, cafe/canteen, dancehall, and clean well-heated rentable lecture rooms. Used for a lot of city centre WEA courses. Membership includes talks, dances, outings etc.
