Our outreach activities aim to support schools and colleges in inspiring their pupils – raising their aspiration and providing them with the information they need to make clear choices about their future. As a specialist institution, we have an added challenge of promoting the arts and creativity in a sector heavily geared towards STEM subjects. It is important for us to ensure young people can make well-informed decisions about their future careers, this involves being immersed in experiences which open minds to alternative possibilities. The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport released figures in November 2018 stating the UK’s roaring creative industries made a record contribution to the economy. Our school is a place where creative talent is celebrated and nurtured. We are very excited about the future of the creative industries and the futures of young people within it.
