  • A friend discovered this gem, as we intended walking up to Syncombe church to see the stunning snowdrops. We met here for a cuppa and delicious breakfast bap. Then set off for our walk. We were so impressed, that we returned for lunch- delicious toasties, tasty soup, scrumptious cakes. A warm welcome from all staff. An added bonus, was the craft shop, attached.

  • The ladies staffing the cafe were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The food, although a bit "Tree hugging" for me was good. My wife is very much into crochet/knitting/dressmaking so the adjoining shop interested her a lot. However, she didn't buy anything because she said it is a bit expensive.

  • Great to see an old abandoned Pub brought back to life. Lovely tomato soup with gorgeous cheese scone - perfect winter warming lunch.

  • Interesting and unusual place to visit: it’s part quilt maker workshop and part cafe. Run by Kate and John, all welcome, including non-lary bikers! They provide various breakfast options. I opted for the full English at £10. The portions were on the slim size for the price but you get get lots of toast plus they did have marmalade. Pot of tea slightly weaker than expected but on the whole was good. Excellent choice of cakes and scones plus sausage rolls. Got talking to John who has a Harley. ...

  • I’ve stopped at a lot of cafes while out cycling. This is one of the very best. Definitely the best sausage roll I’ve had for ages. Very good coffee. Very friendly people. Lovely space. I will be back!
