Georgia State University and The Learning Agency Lab are excited to announce the launch of the sequel to the first Feedback Prize competition– The Feedback Prize – Predicting Effective Arguments. This competition is also hosted on Kaggle, and will build on its predecessor by tasking participants with evaluating argumentative elements in essays written by students in grades 6-12 as effective, adequate, or ineffective. This competition also features a dual-prize track, with one track focusing on standard models and another track focusing on computationally efficient models. The computationally efficient track incentivizes participants to create models that are more environmentally friendly and easier to adapt to real-world educational contexts.
