Awful bar and "venue". This week, the staff act like they don't want to be bothered by customers. The sound of the band on stage was a total mess. The sound guy used to be good. They had an unprofessional person with a camera there that constantly was pushing me out the way or in my view trying to take photographs - They used to have professionals doing that job. Excellent pub and music venue. Friendly atmosphere and great service.

Best venue in Newcastle. Great music, friendly atmosphere and great all-round vibe. Ran by a cooperative and not just for profit. The fact it has a stage and in-house PA system is perfect for performers. Lots of seating too and a great view for the audience.
