We dropped off a batch of old PCs, some phones, drives and wires which they recondition or recycle within Scotland. Such a great initiative to avoid technology ending up in landfill. My partner took the stuff in, so I'm not sure how accessible it is, and I know they can't help unload, so if you're a wheelchair user or have reduced mobility, it's best to go with someone else if you have a lot of stuff to drop off. I would highly recommend The Edinburgh Remakery. I arranged for them to collect some redundant IT equipment from our office. They were very quick to respond to my initial enquiry and offered me the option to drop the kit off at their shop in Ocean Terminal or a free of charge collection. I donated 2 old work laptops and made use of the tech secure disposal service. The process was simple, the staff/ service was excellent and the waste transfer and secure system wipe certificates came by email within a couple of days.
