Perfect property - everything we needed for a great stay. The breakfast pack was a lovely touch. Welcoming team, happy to answer all our questions - and always smiling, despite the melting heat. Gorgeous horses to make friends with. A great base to explore the area - so much to do, plenty of places to eat & drink. We'll definitely be back for another visit. Thank you to the whole team.

Fantastic location and very friendly host would definitely recommend this place

We were the first to stay in the brand new aldanti cabin, it was amazing and had everything we needed. Ruth and nick were so helpful and we were even given a tour of the yard to meet the horses. It’s located in such a beautiful area and is just 30 mins from both goodwood racecourse and brighton pier. Both of which we visited for the weekend.

I had a great couple of days at the Downs Stables. The setting, the standard of the accommodation and the hosts were nothing short of top drawer. I stayed in Straw Bear which was spotlessly clean and very well furnished. Bathroom was excellent and the bed very comfy. It was a wonderful experience to be woken up by the sound of hoof-steps. Booking was really easy, Ruth answered any of my questions really quickly. My partner and I stayed in the ' straw bear ' suite. Spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything we needed for a short break. Was lovely to be staying in the heart of an historic racing yard and hearing the clip clipping of hooves outside. Highly recommend
