I urge anyone considering using The Dog Guy to avoid at all costs. I paid £2500 for a 3 week residential stay with guaranteed results even saying that they specialise in the exact behaviours that I had mentioned in my concerns with her and when returned to me 3 weeks later with only 2-3 updates for the whole time she was there and that was with me having to prompt to ask she was exactly the same dog.

  • Josh and the girls were the perfect match for Zack our feisty 7month old Labrador. With the training Zack and then us on hand over day was perfect. He now walks well now without lots of pulling, understands and reacts to commands much better. They looked after Zack wonderfully whilst in their care and kept us updated all the way through his training. With the offer of support going forward with his training only a text away. We would definitely recommend Josh and the girls to others.

  • I used the Dog Guy as I had a rescue Cavapoo aged 7 months who had never know the outside world, she was scared of everything outside, could not walk her or get a lead on her. After 4 weeks of her being trained it’s like having a new dog, the difference is amazing and she now loves her walks on her lead. I received weekly video updates to see how she was getting on. I can highly recommend them.

  • Our puppy Doberman Max was brought as a present for my husband, already having 2 older dogs it was really hard work as Max was barking, jumping, pulling on walks. With the help from the Nessa, Oli and John from the dog guy, after 3 weeks he was like a different dog. When we got back home, Max had calmed down but we found we were struggling taking him out on walks, he didnt like anyone or anything approaching my husband, so John came down to go out with us and Max in his own environment, wow ...

  • The team here a really lovely and very knowledgeable. However, I felt that the residential training our dog received didn't really work for him. He returned home happy and healthy and I have no doubt he was looked after but all the habits that I hoped would be better weren't and I felt that this type of training didn't work for us at all. I did however, have to chase for videos of our pup on numerous occasions. I get things can be busy but when you pay a lot of money for a service I expected ...

  • Firstly thank you to all the team at The Dog Guy for looking after Syd and teaching/ training him on how to behave in all situations. It is still early days yet and know doubt work will still be needed to get Syd not to attack other dogs, and to be more socialised. The team have left the door open for Syd should I need help/instruction. I must also say how pleased we are with how Syd had been cared for, and also the continued communication, and weekly videos. Again guys many thanks .
