Hello! My name is Jorge Lorente, I am from Madrid, Spain. I trained as an Alexander Technique teacher at CTC from 2006 to 2009. I trained with Alan Philps, Ruth Murray, John Brown and many other lovely teachers who taught on the training course; they were amazing and dedicated teachers. Update after response from CTC: I did not know Ruth passed away. I hope now there will be needed much improvements. Like not ripping people off, financial propriety, entering the 21st century and the safety of visitors and trainees. Ruth milked the CTC as her personal pension, she will not be missed. The teaching area is light, airy, reasonably spacious and well equipped. That's the only positive. I visited this school as I hoping to train in the A.T. Whilst there the head teacher would glar...

Dreadful place, poor quality of leadership, more concerned with money than training. Ruth was appalling as was her co director. Both strange people and it fitted their life to exploit what they inherited. Visiting teachers variable quality, some very good. But this place is a scam for the sole benefit of those running it.
