The Art Studio

I absolutely love Nicky’s art classes. I’ve learnt soo much about different artists and techniques in the last few weeks. Everyone is really friendly and supportive with each other which I love. It’s definitely the highlight of my week and Nicky has really inspired me to get creating as she’s soo positive and encouraging. 😃

One of my favourite activities of the week! Nicky’s class is relaxed and fun. Not only do we learn about various artists and techniques, we experiment with different materials and styles in an friendly supportive atmosphere. Not only that, but we have enjoyable conversations and lovely coffee and cake. A great way to spend a morning.

I love Nicky’s Art Class. I jump out of bed full of energy on the day I have the art class. It has put me in touch with a side of me I had almost forgotten. Some evenings are full of chatting and laughter, others are quite and we are all getting engrossed into our art pieces. It is a lovely warm relaxing atmosphere and the artwork we do is incredibly varied.

Nicky has a natural calming presence, her art classes are a haven for my daughter who literally counts the days until her next class. Expressing and building your creative side is important, but I have also seen my daughter grow in confidence, and can deal with stressful situations much better since starting the classes.

Nicky is an experienced, nurturing teacher who covers many different skills sets and adapts easily to your confidence levels. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of her adult art classes. I don’t think of myself as an artist particularly but love the process, the relaxed setting and the company of the other group members. Two hours of sheer indulgence!
