The word ‘AFFIYA’ is Swahili in origin and translates to English as “good health/healing”. It is our belief that AFFIYA should be sought in all areas of our lives. Tuning into the essence of AFFIYA enables us to focus on bringing our bodies into optimal condition, calming our often chaotic minds, and aligning our spirits. The Affiya Effect was established in January 2020 in response to a glaring need for representation and inclusivity in the world of wellness. In our spaces, all bodies, all beliefs, all experiences and all lifestyles matter.
