The Academy Basingstoke

Absolutely phenomenal Pool and Snooker club - a hidden gem at the back of the Moniton Trading Estate. 🎱 I visited here with my ex wife for a friendly game of pool as we are currently finding the flame to reignite our relationship. Fantastic selection of alcoholic beverages and facilities and I was extremely impressed (nearly as impressed as I was when I saw my ex wife in her lace wedding dress on our big day back in the summer of 1992) We played on table number 2, the soft green fabric cover...

Me and .y son always have a great time playing snooker or pool and often having dinner whilst there .... covers all the bases for me good atmosphere good prices great facilities and a good Chinese takeaway inside ... win win win

On our visit it wasn't crowded, staff were friendly, it was clean and the music wasn't too loud. The only issue I had is the stairs, LOTS of them when you're carrying a large, awkward box!

Everything you could ever hope for in terms of entertainment. Sport, Music,Food and more delivered professionally by friendly enthusiastic staff at a reasonable price.

Great place, recently moved to Basingstoke and The Academy was recommended by someone. Decent prices for beers/drinks .. a couple of pizza and a hot dog on the menu, with a Chinese takeaway on the premises. The tables are great, there's always one available and there's enough TVs to fill a football stadium, so if you're watching the football, you couldn't miss a goal if you tried.
