Tewinbury

We attended my sons wedding just before Christmas 2022. A lovely setting and the Tythe Barn was stunning. The wedding staff were brilliant, not to be faulted. I cannot however say the same for the hotel staff who were abrupt (from time of booking) and actually came across as being quite rude! Some customer service training may be advisable! I also appreciate that they have dog friendly rooms (great) but we were kept awake (as were others) by what appeared to be unattended dogs barking for ...

We had a wonderful stay at Tewinbury. It was beautiful and service was very good. We stayed at the family room and it was spacious for family of 5. During our stay we dined at Farm shop and stables bar which have fresh good food. We hosted a small get-together with afternoon tea at Cowshed and it was perfect! There is alot to do for children. My family went in for a little afternoon snack, we hadn’t booked and were soaking after a walk in the local woods. All the staff were really helpful and friendly, cakes and hot chocolates were amazing. My daughter spilt her hot chocolate and the staff couldn’t do enough to help and also gave us a replacement free of charge. Great service still exists … so thanks and we will definitely be back for the Sunday lunches which looked amazing 👍👍

Really nice hotel and friendly staff who accommodated a planned very late arrival on my visit there. The room was very spacious and had a cosy feeling to it. Initially the lack of power sockets by the bed was an irritation, however it was really nice not having the phone plugged in next to me during the night and it not being the first thing I see when I wake up. Top place and worth a stay even if you’re local.
