Such an idyllic place, quiet, peaceful… and great fishing. I can’t recommend Silver birch enough. Fantastic, we’ll kept water. Friendly people and club. It’s a pleasure to fish and relax. Beautiful!

Only been a member from this year but I can highly recommend this club. Something for every angler from silvers to carp with everything from perch to bream in between. All the fish I’ve caught have been in beautiful unmarked condition. Maurice and his lovely wife Sue work very hard to keep the water in top condition and are both very friendly and helpful. Been on the waiting list for a number of years and finally became a member this year. What a wonderful fishery. Spoke with Maurice today on the bankside and he were very helpful, informative and a very genuine guy. Had a days fishing with five fish netted. All in beautiful condition. Totally unmarked. I would recommend the wait for membership as it is well worth it. Once again Maurice, thanks for your insight. Phil

Unless you are a member of the secret society inner circle then don't waste your time with this club. They treat outsiders with disdain and disregard. Keeping you on the waiting list for years and more often than not ignoring enquiries or offering one word replies, regardless of your academic or professional standing or reputation within angling clubs. been a member now for five years with my husband and twenty year old son, what a lovely run place, quiet no bad behaviour, or bad language from members. we now do night fishing we feel that safe. amazing stock of fish all in top condition. good select solid membership, cant wait for spring to arrive, membership renewal payment already in post.
