Solder an FM Radio!

Description

This Beginners' Soldering class at the Belfast Tool Library is a great introduction to hobby electronics. You will learn to solder and assemble an FM radio from a bag of through-hole components and laser-cut acrylic (provided). No experience needed, just a love for making things (and some hand-eye coordination). This is an intensive 6-hour workshop with a break for lunch (BYOL). This kit is of similar difficulty to the TransistorTester. By the end you will not only have a new radio, but you will have the skills and confidence to continue making electronics projects on your own.
