Lots of fun! Note that if you're on foot or a bicycle there's a road beside the river all the way from Perth City centre to the site and it took me about an hours walk (each way). There is a barrier arm blocking the section which goes under the river crossing bridge so you can't get past that in a car or other vehicle. Google Maps satellite view shows what I mean. Don't be put off walking this route even though Google Maps journey planning may try to direct you on a much longer route.

My partner done a delivery there. He said very nice views.
