Tan Hill Inn

We made a point of coming to visit the Tan Hill Inn during our staying in the area. The drive up to the Inn was incredible! The views were amazing. The food was beautiful. We both had pie but was very tasty. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Not many pubs have to have a snow plough outside ready for when the weather gets bad. Will be back again in the future!

5 of us decided to visit as one of us had a birthday. When I looked up the menu online I thought that there was maybe not much choice, however when we got there the food, atmosphere, friendliness and cleanliness were fabulous! If you like a decent portion of food you won't be disappointed. Everything was hot, fresh and locally sourced. We all gave our various meals 10/10 and will definitely be back in the near future, probably with a larger group of friends. Excellent day out! Thank you 😊

Don't know about rooms, but location, beer and food was excellent. Sunday Roast was amazing. Also been back for mid-week lunch. If you're really hungry get the Yorkshire pudding with either sausage or vegetarian sausages on mash in it. Also a side o FF vegetables and extra gravy. More than you can eat!

We stayed here mid week and i can't fault anything. From the welcome we received, our room, the food and atmosphere was all brilliant. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a night away from everything. I honestly dont see where the negative reviews come from, as we had a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place! Friendly staff! Delicious food! A huge thank you to Nicola and all the team following our recent visit. We visited with two coaches carrying a party of 100 passengers. The event barn was laid beautifully with long tables, candles and jugs of water for our group. We had a delicious two-course hot lunch of lasagne followed by apple crumble and custard.
