  • Classes are fun in a relaxing atmosphere. Zibi is a friendly teacher who explains and coaches in a calm manner. There is an emphasis on quality over quantity; students are not rushed through a predetermined curriculum in order to be presented with a certificate, but instead encouraged to develop mastery of the forms they are being taught. It is difficult to find Tai Chi classes where the sequence, weapons and pushing hands are taught with a strong foundation. Highly recommend.

  • Zibi is a great instructor and very patient. The students in the class are welcoming and encouraging, supporting newcomers to learn the moves. I have wanted to learn Tai Chi for years and am so glad I found this class. Zibi explains the purpose of each move so that we understand what we are trying to achieve. As well as exercising, I come away from the sessions feeling relaxed and balanced. Would highly recommend!

  • I’ve been a student with YMAA for just over 2 years. Zibi is a great teacher and has a deep knowledge and understanding of tai chi. He teaches each move and the martial applications, also the health aspects, weapons side and qigong. He has a good balance of seriousness and humour that make the classes fun and enjoyable. Learning tai chi has changed my life and I would recommend for anyone to give it a try.
