  • I highly recommend the Swim Studio. Under Sam's tuition I was able to fine tune my technique and prepare for my first half iron man. Sam's approach is patient and methodical - making for a really enjoyable experience. Thanks Sam.

  • A friend recommended Sam to me in 2016 when I signed up to Barcelona Ironman and the thought of swimming 400m was a pipe dream let alone 4k and I'm delighted I gave the studio a try. The Swim Studio set up is excellent and very convenient and I managed to fit sessions in around work very easily.   • Did a workshop and a few private lessons with Sam. My swimming improved a lot and feels much easier thanks to Sams useful inputs. The instant video review is a great tool.

  • The adult group lessons at the local pool didn't really suit me. But I love going to Swim Studio. Nothing beats the experience of 1-2-1 coaching, a private pool, towels in the changing rooms, and DVD recordings of each session so you can review your progress. Whatever you want to do with your swimming, beginner or triathlete, Sam will get you there.

  • I went to Sam as a competent but fairly slow swimmer, who swam a mile before breakfast 2-3 times a week. After I signed up for the Dart 10km I wanted to improve my stroke and swim faster, whilst retaining the relaxed style I was used to. Sam is extremely methodical in his approach, filming swimming from different angles so that it is easy to understand what he is explaining (it's very easy to think 'oh I don't do that' but when it is on film, it's very clear that I do).
