We went last week for the first time. The location of Swanston Golf Club is fantastic. The views from the restaurants are beautiful. We enjoyed a lovely sunset through the large windows. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. You have the option to enjoy your food indoor but also outdoor on a lovely terrace. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by the food. It was pub-style food but not the greatest quality and not homemade. I suppose the price is justified by the views. We'll come...

Challenging course being based on the side of the Pentland Hills but has possibly the best views of Edinburgh from any course in the city. Excellent little PAR 3 course if you don’t have time to play 18 holes and a fantastic new driving range and club fitting facility too.

It's not just a golf club it's also a Park and Wildlife Area. My wife really wanted to see the Highland cows so we walk the trails and it took a bit but there are plenty up in the hills. She was so happy she started to cry. And before anybody gives us feedback we found a place to observe them and they walked up to us and around us.
