Swansea Harriers Athletics Club

I was at Ashleigh Road football playing fields which was in a a superb location with excellent facilities. I imagine the Swansea Harriers facility is of the same high class quality.

Went there for the parasport festival today. I found the facilities were pretty good. There was a machine to refill water bottles which is useful. The room we were in was quite hot so some air conditioning would have been nice. There were quite a few disabled parking spaces and the entrance was wheelchair friendly. The disabled toilet was alright but not the best I've seen. The button to flush the toilet is in an awkward place and the hand dryer seemed very high on the wall.

Easy to park, attendants on hand to show you where to go. The meters where down so you could either cue and get a ticket in the national pool or download the parking app. I went for the football, the stand had some areas where vision is obstructed but theres plenty of seats you just got to find the right ones.

We are NOT going to the Harriers club, but we are attending the National Wales Pool Swansea. It's pretty cool place, literally. The price is quite good, but we found the water is very cold, indeed! :) Proper swimming pool, with very good swimming instructors! Enjoy the swim! X Lona

Go there for running. A great club with great coaches in any event. Very comparative as well, which is important if your taking athletics serious.
