Swanage Tennis Club

The tennis club is a great place to meet new people while keeping fit and honing your skills. Ryan is a great coach, and offers plenty of different sessions to suit every level of play and 1-2-1 lessons. I also love the floodlit courts, as we can play all year round.

When people ask why I love living in Swanage I can point at the scenery, the walks, the sea and the beach. But most of all its the people. And through Swanage Tennis Club I have met many really good friends and enjoyed great coaching and tennis as well. Its a friendly club and it offers every level of play. There are coaching sessions for all levels of ability, along with a vibrant competitive set of teams playing in the Dorset leagues.

Recently retired and a non tennis player Swanage Tennis Club has been a life line. Welcoming and Friendly, with the most amazing coaches, Ryan and Paul. I have made many new friends and have thoroughly enjoyed learning to play tennis. There is coaching available nearly every day as well as club sessions that meet the needs of all players. Ryan’s coach, Paul Merchant teaches tennis to our 7yr old daughter on Saturdays. He is a great coach and makes sessions worthwhile and lots of fun for all the kids no matter their level and is always very polite. Would definitely recommend Paul and Ryan.

Richard and Steve up at the cafe area are absolutely lovely! And an absolute credit to swanage council! We left the father in law there while we played pitch and putt! Dad has dementia the lads looked after him no end kept him company! Thank you ever so much!
